WOW!!! I just went out to my balcony for my morning prayer time because I slept in late today,
and within five minutes, God had this ENTIRE devotional written in my head! It is going to be a cool one,
and powerful............so put on your seat belts and get ready for a tremendous wind of God to blow over
you with His spirit of revelation today!!! :)
The Word of God is like a banquet. You cannot receive EVERY SINGLE word in the Bible at one time,
because they may not all apply to you at one time! The importance of TIMING is crucial!!!
Think about it, Jesus came into ministry at age 30 (God's time, and the number 30 means
spiritual maturity........Jesus was mature enough to handle what God had in store! Up until then,
He wasn't!) And it lasted 3.5 years. Another God timing as we discussed the other day, if Jesus
did not get crucified THAT DAY, the NEXT day, He could have sinned and blown the whole thing!
So, the Word of God is like a Banquet of Heaven coming to you daily! One day,
God may pass the bread to you and say "eat some"! You may not want bread, you may want the cupcake,
you know, that pretty girl that keeps smiling at you! Or that handsome guy. But God says "No THIS bread is GOOD for you"!
Well, if you want to be blessed, you better eat it. God knows what is best for you!
My earthly dad used to like Pickled pigs feet. So when I was a little girl, I ate pickled pigs feet with my dad!
He was so happy eating pickled pigs feet, that I got happy too. But to be honest
with you, if you offered me pickled pigs feet today, I might just think about what
I am about to eat, and I may say "no thanks"! I ate them THEN because my dad ate them.
But listen, it's like the Word of God. A Word that is good for you, may not be good someone else close to you!
In fact, they may even get sick over your word, where you could get real healthy be obeying that word!
So, DON'T EAT just because someone else is eating!!! TEST THE SPIRITS and ASK GOD, who gives liberally
and WITHOUT condemnation, "is this good for me too?" If He says no.......don't eat it!
I went to Bible Study last night.
In the past, certain things bugged the heck out of me. So, I was determined THIS TIME
I am going to approach it different! So, I prayed and said "God take control over this night!
Give me a word!" And He did! And every so often there was a Word that could have been very negative......
HAD I EATEN IT......but I didn't! I said "No thanks" and passed it along! I took the pecan pie and ate it
and enjoyed it, but I left the cheesecake for someone else! And I had the most awesome Bible Study I have ever
had and left full of the Holy Ghost!!! I was FULL on God's goodies that HE allowed me to eat!
It's like passing by a bakery!
I love to go to a Danish town here in California called Solvang! I love it there
(being of Scandinavian descent) and you walk by all these bakeries and drool! Well,
I learned the key to enjoying Solvang...........walk by and drool, but DON'T EAT!!!
You will get fat and not a good fat! So, I would walk by all these places and then decide
on ONE, and go for the ONE and not the many!
It's like choosing a mate.
Do you want to go in the bakery and eat them all, or do you want to wait for God
to bring you the ONE, who is the best and tastiest and healthiest for you! I know some of
you are laughing now, but eating too many goodies can get you REAL SICK and out of God's will
and purpose for your life! Many people have fallen into that temptation and will regret it later in life!
Too many sweets get you sick!!! Just like all the quail that God poured down on the Israelites when they
complained they were bored with manna!
I would rather be bored with a GOOD THING from God
and be safe than have many sweets and be throwing it up all the time! :)
I used to wonder "God is this the man you are bringing into my life?"
But now I know that God will send him like He sent Jacob to Rachel, and we will both know it and their won't be any questions about it!
Sometimes when you meet someone new God says "You only get to taste of this Key Lime pie,
but they are not the one." The only reason they were there that day was to encourage us and deliver a message from God!
And if you get too close and they are not the right one then God will make sure you do not eat Key Lime pie again! Because it would not have been good to have more than one piece!
God doesn't want us to get fat on the wrong thing!
"Pass the potatoes, Please!" Yes, we need to move on in the Banquet
of Heaven, and as each dish is passed to you, ask God "can I eat this?" Is this from you?
And He will tell you yes or no!
And as you eat God's diet, you will get real healthy and be in His
perfect Will for your life and you will live a long, blessed life!
And God's diet is tasty! Sometimes we get to eat that Chocolate
Cream Pie and indulge, like buying a new outfit, or a new pair of shoes. But if you buy too many
outfits or shoes, you will go broke! Just like eating too much Chocolate Cream Pie, you will get fat and have to
spend money to diet and lose weight!
Do you know how much money people make on weight loss products?!!!
More than you can spend on eating healthy foods!!! Better to eat
right first and let God bless you so you don't have to waste time and money on GETTING HEALED.........
you know, doctors, counselors, etc! Just eat right and eat from God's Banquet...........not the devils!!!
I am expecting God to move in like a MIGHTY RUSHING WIND and blow over everyone
So, get ready! Jesus is coming and like the five WISE virgins, we must keep our lamps trimmed with OIL so that
when our bridegroom calls us, we are ready to enter into His House and get married! I don't want to miss out
on my wedding date!!! That's for sure!!!
